Our Mission
Our mission is to match reliable babysitters with families, helping to fill childcare gaps with trusted, engaging support. We focus on connecting families with sitters who do more than supervise, creating positive experiences for children while giving parents confidence and peace of mind.

The Story Behind koko & Ko
Koko & Ko was founded by Koko, whose background as a nanny, babysitter, and nursery professional shaped the heart of the business. After training as an apprentice and gaining her qualifications, Koko quickly progressed into leadership roles, including Room Manager and Acting third in charge. While working in nursery settings, she saw that many families still needed trusted support outside of nursery hours and. Koko & Ko was created to meet that need, connecting families with reliable carers who offer engaging care that goes beyond supervision.
The Founder
Our Values
Engagement First
We believe childcare should be interactive and intentional. Our carers are there to engage, not simply supervise supporting play, learning, and meaningful interaction so children feel stimulated, cared for, and genuinely enjoy their time while parents are away.
Trust & Reliability
Families place enormous trust in who cares for their children, and we take that responsibility seriously. Every sitter introduced to Koko & Ko families is thoroughly screened, including an enhanced DBS check, interviews, and reference checks. Our process is designed to ensure carers are not only qualified, but safe, reliable, and genuinely suited to working with children.
Support for Real Family Life
We understand that family life doesn’t always go to plan. Our approach is flexible and responsive, supporting families through everyday needs and unexpected childcare gaps — whether that’s a sick day, nursery closure, or last-minute change.
Quality Care, Thoughtfully Matched
We believe great childcare starts with the right match. Every sitter is interviewed face-to-face so we can understand their personality, approach, and values not just their experience. This ensures care feels natural, comfortable, and supportive from the very beginning.
